A reliable application designed to seamlessly mirror the screen of your iPhone or iPad to any LG Smart TV, without the need for wires or additional hardware. With this app, you can effortlessly mirror any app on your mobile device directly to your LG TV.

This app is compatible with all LG Smart TVs released from 2012 onwards, ensuring a wide range of TV models can benefit from its functionality.

While the app provides a smooth mirroring experience, it is worth noting that there may be a slight latency of a few seconds (typically between 1 and 3 seconds). As a result, it is not recommended for gaming purposes. However, it is highly suitable for watching movies, delivering presentations, displaying photos, and much more!

How the App Works:

1. Ensure that your iPhone or iPad is connected to the same local network as your LG TV. Please note that using multiple VLANs, a VPN, or subnets may impact the app's functionality.
2. Launch the Mirror for LG TV app. The app will automatically search for available LG TVs on your local network. Select the desired TV when it appears. When using the app for the first time, depending on your LG TV model, you may need to grant permission for the connection by pressing "OK" on your TV Remote Control.
3. Enable notifications for this app to receive important updates about your TV's status. Rest assured that we prioritize privacy and will not engage in spamming. These notifications are solely intended to keep you informed if any troubleshooting is required.
4. Click on "Start Mirroring" to initiate mirroring on the selected TV. From there, you can freely switch to other apps on your iPhone or iPad while enjoying uninterrupted mirroring.
5. To stop mirroring, you have two options: (1) Tap the red top bar visible on your iPhone or iPad or (2) Navigate to the Mirror for LG TV app and click on "Stop Mirroring".

Limitations and Known Issues:

DRM (Digital Rights Management):

Screen Mirroring may be blocked by certain apps, as developers have the freedom to decide whether they wish to enable this feature. Notable examples include Netflix, Disney, and AppleTV+. To check if an app supports Screen Mirroring, follow these steps:

1. Open the desired app and access Control Center on your iPhone or iPad by swiping up.
2. Select "Screen Recording" and begin recording the screen to your Camera Roll.
3. Monitor the recorded video in your Photos app. If the content you intended to mirror is visible in the video, it indicates that Screen Mirroring is functioning correctly. Conversely, if the video is empty, it suggests that the app explicitly prohibits Screen Mirroring.

About Screen Recording and Privacy:

We would like to emphasize that although users receive notifications regarding Screen Recording, we do not store screen recordings as files nor transmit any content to external servers. Instead, data is temporarily preserved in memory before being streamed to your TV. Once streaming occurs, all content is immediately removed from memory.

An upgraded Pro Version of Mirror for LG TV is available through an in-app purchase. This enhanced version offers a host of additional features:

1. This Pro Version introduces support for audio during screen mirroring.
2. By purchasing the Pro Version, users gain access to free lifetime app updates, ensuring they benefit from future enhancements and improvements.
3. Users can opt for higher screen resolutions, including 720p and 1080p, for an enhanced viewing experience.

• Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account upon confirmation of purchase.
• A subscription to the Pro Version automatically renews unless auto-renewal is disabled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.
